One of the Czech capital’s newest contemporary art spaces.
The former Zenger Transformer Substation has been transformed into a contemporary art space, featuring three gallery halls, design shop and café. Kunsthalle Praha is located in the Lesser Town (Malá Strana) area, just below Prague Castle.

The building was originally constructed in the early 1930s and designed in a neoclassical style that still defines its exterior today.
Bush-hammered architectural concrete visually follows the materiality of the original industrial building, and, alongside glass and steel, brings together raw authenticity and refined modernity.
As a contemporary art platform, the gallery connects Czech and international scenes and presents exhibitions and public programmes focused on 20th- and 21st-century art and culture.
